Financial Update – August 2022
Summer has arrived and despite the recent record temperatures, plenty of us will still be looking forward to jetting off to sunny climes abroad and relaxing.
But if you want to avoid the queues at the airports and ferry terminals, there are lots of exciting things going on in the UK to enjoy too.
From the Notting Hill Carnival and Edinburgh Festival Fringe to major music festivals such as Creamfields and the Reading and Leeds Festivals, the summer diary is packed once again, and that’s before we’ve mentioned the Commonwealth Games, which are currently taking place in Birmingham.
However, we’re very conscious that these are worrying times for many, as rising inflation affects household budgets and investments.
